DAMAGED CARGO.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Jan. 20. In view of the damage to the Rinmtaka’s cargo having been confined to one hold, it is likely that the 10 per cent general average declared on tlie ship and cargo will yield considerably more than is required to meet all claims. It is probable that when all formalities have been complied with a recovery or rebate of about 5 per cent will be made. The Rimutaka is scheduled to sail for 'Wellington to-morrow morning after discharging the Auckland portion of her cargo.
