Darega'fi, who drew > the rails, famshed halt a l€ charge when the field settled down and led to the straight two lengths ahead of Yours Truly, who was always prominent, Mimicry, "ho wins lying third, was making up ground on the fence, but he apparently needed a race as he could not finish on strongly enough when asked for th effort at the distance. He weakened on the post to be caught by Drachma, who was fourth early in dhe running, but lost his position and came again to get third money. Next to finish were White Rajah, Colonel Bogey, and Little Dorrit, who was slow away; then came Cherie Amie and Night Eruption. Brazil, who drew an outside marble, was never sighted, Cold Chase, Hyderabad and Richelieu Pearl declined their engagements.
