HUNGARIAN DECREE.
RESTRICTIONS OF JEWS
Received December 24, 11.30 a.m. BUDAPEST, Dec. 23.
An anti-Semitic Bill, which has been circulated, permits the deprivation of citizenship acquired later than 1914, separate Jewish elections,- not more than 6 per cent, representation in the Lower House but the exclusion from the Senate, limitation of Jews in the professions to 6 per cent, and commerce to 12 per cent.; also, their total exclusion from journalism.

REQUEST TO BRITISH MINISTER
(British Official AAhreless.) Received December 24, 11.30 a.m. RUGBY, Dec. 23. A deputation from the Board of Deputies of British Jews was received by Air Malcolm ‘AlacDonald (Colonial Secretary) following a resolution passed by the board asking for reconsideration by the Government of its decision against the admission of IQO'OO German Jewish children into Palestine.
After hearing the deputation Mr AlacDonald expressed sympathy with the humanitarian consideration which prompted the resolution. He then gave a full explanation of the reasons which •compelled the Government to reach its decision already announced.
