KILLED IN LIFT.
HEIR TO MILLIONS. LONDON, Dec. 15. Christopher Coats, aged four, son of Mr J. B. Coats, was killed in a fall down an automatic lift shaft in a luxury apartment building at Westminster. Mr J. B. Coats is a member of the famous Paisley family of cotton thread manufacturers, nine of whom have left fortunes of more than £1,000,000. Mr W. A. Coates left £3.936.085; Lord Gle’ntanar. £4-042,268; Mr Peter Coats, £2,362,068; Sir James Coats, £1,773.870; and Major Andrew Coats (excluding value of real estate), £2,797,765.
