RAILWAY CROSSING RAMP.
WORK DELAYED. It is learned that the proposed ramp over the railway crossing at Ashhurst is not likely to' be built for some time, according to information received by the Ashhurst Itacing Club, which had proposed to hold its next meeting on the Awapuni course. The club has been advised that the work will not be proceeded with until after the club’s meeting in January and accordingly the arrangements with the Manawatu Club have been cancelled.
