Mies Lorna King, of Auckland, arrives to-morrow morning to spend Christmas with her parents, Mr and Mrs H. J. King, of Albert Street. Mrs H. Johnson, of Wellington, is staying with her daughter, Mrs M. H. Oram, of Featherston Street, for Christmas. Mr and Mrs Oram, Miss Margaret Oram and Mr W. Oiain leave for a camping holiday at Tokaanu on Tuesday. Miss A. Bristow is staying with Miami Mrs F. J. Oakley, of Kidnforth Street for Christmas, and Miss *. Bristow with ‘Mr and Mrs E. Whitehead, of Albert Street. The 9-ftli birthday of Mrs Annie Telfer -was celebrated with a family gathering held at Onerahi on Sunday. Born in Auckland on December 12, 1844, Mrs Teller spent the early part ol her life in the city, then in its infancy. After her marriage Mrs Teller made her home with her husband at Parua Bay on the Whangarei Harbour. They were among the pioneers of that district. Mrs Telfer, who was left a widow .with a young family, has 12 children living, 52 grand-children and 38 great grand-children.
