Miss Elaine Wareham, of Hopelands, is the guest of Mrs H. G. Mills, Chaytor Street, Palmerston North.
Mrs_C. W. Kirkham, Te Mawhai, and Mrs K. .1. Rodgers, are visiting their parents, Mr and Mrs F. Jackson. Mrs D. Evans, of Chelwood Street, has returned from Wellington, where she was the guest of Mrs E. Miles, of Houghton Bay. Hon. J. Russell, Director of Education for Fiji, and Mrs Russell, who have been staying with Mr and Mrs G. A. Eliott, of Fitzherbert West, have gone to Hawke’s Bay.
Prominent members of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union who were present at the Massey Agricultural College garden party yesterday included Mesdames E. Honeybun and J. Joll (president and secretary respectively of the Northern Hawke’s Bay provincial executive), W. F. Barker (president of the Southern Hawke’s Bay provincial executive), Harold McLeavey a.nd C. Bartholomew (president and secretary respectively of the Manawatu provincial executive), and A. H. McLean (president of the Wanganui branch).
