CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNING.
MASSEY COLLEGE EVENT. The annual steeplechase for students at Massey College was held this week and resulted: H. B. Lawry 1, K. P. Whitlock 2. P. Oliver 3. The course was from the college down the drive and over to the poultry farm, up to the terrace, about the sheep farm, and then back along the riverbed to the old Batchelar homestead before returning to the college. The time was 35min 45 sec, as against 38min last year.
