Conditions are still rather-dis-turbed in the north, but the principal storm centre is on the New South Wales coast, where a cyclone is developing. Forecast.—Light to moderate southeast to easterly winds, freshening at times about the straits. Weather: Fair to cloudy with some morning fog or drizzle possible, mainly east.of the ranges. Moderate day but cold night temperatures. Seas, slight to moderate. RIVER GAUGE. Noon. —3ft.
