As a sequel to a two-day romance 12 years ago, Miss- Kathleen Hogen, nurse, of Chislehurst, Kent, has won a breach of promise action in Shanghai Supreme Court. She was awarded £250 and costs against Albert George Carpell, of Shanghai Municipal Fire Brigade.
