SUPPORT OF FRENCH RADICALS. Received August 24, 2.10 p.m. PARIS, Aug. 24. The Radicals to-day passed a resolution of complete confidence ill the Premier (M. Daladier) and affirmed that a national collective effort is lhore than ever necessary in view of the fearful disproportion between the production of Franco and the dictatorship where everything is subordinated to military preparations. The adaptation of the 40-hour week to the exigencies of the national and international situation cannot he regarded as an act of recession. . The Socialist Party executive has decided to demand the immediate .summoning of Parliament. MARSEILLES DOCK STRIKE. SPREADING TcToTHER POKTS. s Received August 25, 2.20 p.m. LONDON. Aug. 24. The Daily Telegraph’s Paris correspondent says: The -Marseilles dock strike has spread to several other ports, also to Algeria, and is likely to affect Corsica and Morocco.
