CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER.
DEATH OF 9-YEAR-OLD BOY. LOS ANGELES, Aug. 23. Mrs Lillian Volstad, the mother of a Ity aged nine who died from a ruptured appendix, has been charged with manslaughter because she refused to let him have an operation.
