Yesterday the Feilding Hockey Association received a cheque for £SO, being the amount of the insurance cover taken out to safeguard the association in the event of rain spoiling the attendance at the recent Indian hockey match at Feilding. The Feilding women’s hockev team leaves for Gisborne to-morrow by bus to take part in the Dominion tourney. Members playing in the returned soldiers’ annual golf medal match for the AVaimana Cup on Saturday are to 6elect their own partner's and play in fours.
