POLO COMPETITIONS.
The Australasian Polo Gold Cup which the New Zealand team won in the contest in Sydney in April, is now in the hands of the New Zealand secretary, who has made arrangements for it to be displayed in Feilding for several days. The matter of a contest in New Zealand for the trophy next year is under consideration, and the Australian polo authorities have been invited to send a team, or teams, to the Dominion for the Seville Cup contest, to be played in Feilding next year. If the invitation is accepted the competition for the gold cup will also be played in Feilding, and the Australian team will have an opportunity, if they are successful, of taking the handsome trophy back to Australia. In the event of no competition being arranged the cup will bo returned to Australia.
