RAIN PROBABLE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 27. An intense anti-cyclone is now centred east of the East Cape. Conditions are disturbed over the Tasman Sea, depressions being centred south of Norfolk Island and over the south Tasman respectively. Forecast: Moderate but freshening north-east by northerly winds. Weather: Fair tp fine at first, but gradually clouding over and rain developing after about 24 hours. Temperatures, milder; seas, slight to moderate, but later rising. RIVER GAUGE. Noon.—3ft. 3in.
