MISS HELEN SIMPSON.
PROSPECTIVE LIBERAL CANDIDATE. LONDON, June 12. Miss Helen Simpson, the Australian novelist, has been endorsed as prospective Liberal candidate for the Isle of Wight.' Speaking at Sliankiin, she said: “I am shocked to see the way the Government’s policy is alienating the British colonies. Canada and Australia are now looking to the United States for defence and leadership, and South Africa feels that she must hoe her own row.”
