SHIPPING FIRMS’ AGREE.
AUSTRALIA-JAPAN TRADE. Received June 27, 9.20 a.m. OSAKA, June 26. A tentative agreement for two years has been reached by the Eastern Australian Steamship Co. and the Nippon. Yusen, Kaisha Line providing for 70 per cent, of the gross profits on freight to be paid into pool accounts, the remaining 30 per cent, to be paid into the independent accounts of the respective firms.
