. INTER-CLUB MATCH. Tlie weather remained perfect at the week-end for the inter-club golf match between’ Manawatu and Palmerston North. The A teams played at Hokowhitii and the B teams at Awatapu. Palmerston North emerged winners' in both grades, winning the A teams’ section by 14 matches to 8, two being halved, and the B team section by 13 matches to 8, one being halved. / ■ All the teams enjoyed the matches and many players expressed the wish that more inter-club contests would be arranged.
