OFFER TO BRADMAN.
POSITION WITH LONDON FIRM. AUSTRALIAN RETICENT. Received June 27, 9.20 a.m. LONDON, June 26. The Daily Mirror says that D. G. Bradman is considering an offer of £2500 a year from the Sports Investors Society, Ltd., London, described as a firm of bookmakers, to whom Bradman pointed out that lie was bound by his present contract for some time yet; but the society is prepared to renew the offer at the expiration of the present engagement. Bradman promised to consider it. The position is described as the chairmanship of the advisory committee to the society. _ Bradman, interviewed by the Australian Press Association, confirmed the statement that he had received certain correspondence concerning the offer, and said he regarded the whole affair as confidential. He could not state when .lie was likely to decide. He was not aware that the position concerned bookmaking.
