WHALING AGREEMENT.
Received June 25, 11.20 a.m. LONDON, June 24. The Whaling Conference, including Japan, signed the protocol exempting humpbacks from capture in the Antarctic for a year, establishing a twoyear sanctuary in the Antarctic for baleens, and protecting all whales from capture in the Arctic.
