In 1914, there existed around Casablanca and Oud.ida only ;,31 miles of roads. To-day, the roads of Morocco measure a total of’ 20,505-miles. Of these, there are 4/WO miles of main road, with tarred surface, 3.417 secondary roads, all in good condition for any kind of traffic, and 12,427 miles of track-roads, that is, roads without side embankment or pavement.
