BIBLE SOCIETY.
DISTRICT MEETINGS. A further B’ble Society meeting was held in the district when the Rangiotu and Tiakitahnna blanches held their .combined annual meeting in the Presbyterian Church at Rankiotu. Mrs H. AVilton was ip the chair and associated with her was Mrs J. Andrew, secretary. The excellent attendance and response to the work, of the society gavo encouragement to the branches. The gift sent to the Bible Society last year was £9 16s 9d. Mrs Andrew read a letter from Bible House expressing the appreciation " f oiety for the co-operation of all who had made the gift possible.-especially thanking the collectors for their splendid service. Miss’ • Beulah Hartnell. the organising secretary, was present and spoke of the world-wide cndeavonr of the British and Foreign Bible Society.
