(From Our Own Correspondent.) STANWAY, June 24. The Stanway cribbage team played Dunolly and the games ended in a win for Dunolly by 26 points to 24. This places the Stanwav team fourth in the competition. The Stanway team were Messrs A.
Newell, G. Chisholm, M. Sanson, K. .Marshall, I. Marshall, T. Marshall, E. Christian, J. Maclarlano, A; Green, and It, Cockburn. Although there was only a poor attendance at the Ping Pong Club’s night, an enjoyable time was spent. The standard of play is rapidly rising and many of the contests were very exciting. Mr and Mrs E. .Dcriner have returned from the north. Mr and Mrs M. Spicer and family have taken up their residence in Haleombc. Mrs 13. Loach, who has been a . visitor to Gisborne, has returned to Stanway. Mr and Mrs Hayworth have been visitors to Wellington.
