CANADA INVOLVED. ■ OTTAWA. June 23. The United States spy. ting investigation spread to Canada with the announcement by the Minister of Defence (Hon. I. -Mackenzie) that one of the suspects indicted at Washington had been visiting Montreal. The announcement recalls Mr R. B. Bennett’s allegation in the House of Commons that a German named Gerhard had been engaged in secretly organising Nazis throughout Canada.
