CZECH DEADLOCK
BETWEEN TWO LEADERS. EASING FRONTIER TENSION. MR CHAMBERLAIN'S MOVE. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received May 27, 11.25 a.m. LONDON, May 26. The latest dispatches from official quarters indicate that the Czechoslovakian situation is unchanged. The Czechs have ordered all their aeroplanes to a point five kilometres behind their frontier, while the frontier patrols, without rifles, ■ are easing the tension, but the German resentment against Britain continues. > . The deadlock remains between the Czech Premier (Dr Hodza) and Herr Henlein (the Sudeten leader). The former wants to negotiate immediately. The latter says he is not ready. Importance attaches to Mr Chamberlain sending Mr W. Strang, head of the central department of the Foreign Office, to Prague, Berlin and Paris to consult with the British Embassies and bring back a picture of the situation. WARNING ~~TO AIRCRAFT. ALLEGED FRONTIER VIOLATION. NEW CZECH ORDER. LONDON, May 26. The Czechoslovakian Ministry of Defence has ordered all aircraft to keep three miles from the frontiers, and is introducing a system of signals to warn , 'planes off prohibited areas, says the 1 Prague correspondent of the Times. The Ministry does not admit the correctness of German allegations that five violations of the frontier have taken place in 24 hours. These violations are apparently offset by similar Germa.n trespassing. • AMBASSADORS RETURN. REPORT ON POWERS’ POLICY. LONDON, May 26. The Polish Ambasador to Britain (M.
