MARKET REPORT.

PIGS, POULTRY AND PRODUCE. The Dominion Auctioneering Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report a very keen demand for pigs at their weekly sale held on Thursday: All kinds were keenly sought after, good wcaners realising up to- 15s each, and slips to 21s 6d, with a corresponding increase in the price of stores and porkers. Poultry is now in very keen demand, good hens realising up to 3s 6d each, and cockerels to 4s.- We quote as follows: Pigs.—Good wcaners, from 12s to 15s each; slips, from 163 6d to 21s 6d each; stores, 22s 6d each. Poultry.—Beet W.L. hens, from 5s to 6s per pair: light hens, from 4s to 5s per pair; heavy 8.0. hens, from 6s to 8s per pair; heavy cockerels, from 7s 6d to 8s 6d por pair; light cockerels, from 5s to 8s per pair; ducks, from 6s to 8s por pair; W.L. pullets, to 7s 4d each. Produce. —Tomatoes, hothouse.
