After being the guest of Mr and Mrs 11. W. Lucas, Miss J. Vincent has returned home. The friends of Mrs E. 0. McKinnon 122,/ “Money Power” was the subject of a lecture delivered on Saturday evening by Mr E. O Bond. The speaker traced the history of the banking system since its inception, and explained the reason for “boom” and “slump” periods. Mr Bond was accorded a vote of thanks.
