PREMIER’S STATEMENT. A REPORT DENIED. 1 Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 26. A denial that the New Zealand Government had raised any difficulties in connection with the proposed Tasman air-mail service was given this evening by the Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage), when liis attention was called to the Sydney cable message stating that there had been a hitch in the negotiations for the establishment of the service. “We have raised no difficulties, declared Mr Savage. ' “Certain details have still to be discussed, but so far as we are concerned we are ready to carry out our obligations right away. We are ready to carry out our part of the responsibilities as soon as the others involved are.”
