CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIPS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 20. Finals at the Canterbury tennis championships resulted as follow: Men’s singles.—C. F. Penfold beat R. G. Pattinson, 4—6, 6—l, 7—5. Women’s singles: Miss S. Anderson beat Miss H. Elsom, 7—5, 2—6, 6 3. Men’s doubles; C. F. Penfold and R. G. Pattinson beat H. Dymond and A. R. Cant, B—6, 6—4. Mixed doubles: Miss S. Anderson and R. G. Pattinson heat Mrs E. M. Peppier aril A. R. Cant, 7—5, 6—2. Girls’ doubles,: Misses H. and D. Elsom beat Misses P. Cuddon and P. Gould, 6—2, 4—6, 6—2.
