DEPRESSION CROSSING DOMINION. PeivPress Association. WELLINGTON, April 21. A shallow depression is crossing the central portion of the Dominion, the lowest pressure being west of Cook Strait. An anti-cyclone of considerable intensity covers south-eastern Australia and extends across the south Tasman. Sea. Forecast: Moderate to strong soiith-easterlv to southerly winds. Weather: Cloudy to overcast, with intermittent rain. Temperatures cool; seas, rather rough to rough. RIVER GUAGE. Noon. —3ft. 9in.
