STRATFORD MEETING.

NOMINATIONS DUE TO-NIGHT. Nominations for tho Stratford Racing Club’s autumn meeting, to be hold on April 2, close at 9 o’clock to-night with the secretary, Mr C. R. F. Tilley, Box 65, Stratford (’phone 345). Free, stabling is provided for horses competing at the meeting, which is always well supported on account of its' being held before the Easter circuit. The course is in splendid order, with a good sole of grass. A feature of' aii attractive prgornnime is the Trial Stakes, of £l3O, for horses which have never won a flat race, hurdle race, or steeplechase at the timo of starting. Three-year-olds are to carry 8.0, and four-year-olds and upwards 8.7. An alteration has been made in tho dates for the declaration of weights. Weights will now be declared on Monday morning next, March 28.
