PASSENGER FROM SYDNEY. SYDNEY, March 4. Passengers aboard the Mariposa, which sailed at noon for Auckland, numbered 700 including Mr E. C. Squire, the retiring United States Trade Commissioner. The Strathmore sailed at 5 p.m. for her New Zealand cruise, via Brisbane, with a heavy passenger list.
