“‘MECHANICAL MAN.”
NOVELTY FOR. EXHIBITION. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. March 3. A “Fitter Britain” exhibit arranged by the Ministry of Health with the collaboration of the Board of Education, the Scottish Department of Health and the National Fitness Council for the Empire Exhibition at Glasgow, will include a “mechanical man,” a gigantic working model of the upper half of the human* body. The model, which is lift high, will be brilliantly illuminated from within, and is likely to cause a scientific sensation. It will show the working of the internal organs, the processes of respiration and digestion, and the circulation of the blood.
