WELLINGTON QUOTATIONS. Prices of fruit, vegetables and other produce in the Wellington markets this week are quoted as follow: . Apples.—Gravenstein, 2s to 5s per bushel; cooking, 2s 6d to 4s 6d; Cox’s Orange, 3s to 6s 6d; Worcester Pearmain, 2s 6d to 3s 6d. Pears: W.8.C., 3s to 6s 9cl per three-quarter case ; L.8.J., 4s to 6s. Quinces, 6s to 9s 9d per bushel. Passion fruit, 3s to 6s per halt-case. Plums: Dessert, os to 7s 3d per half-case; cooking, 3s to ss. Peaches: Dessert, 4s to 7s per half-case; cooking. 3s to 4s. Lemons: 5s to 10s per bushel. Grapes, local hothouse, 9d to Is 5d per lb. Tomatoes.—Ripe, Is to Is 6d petcase, coloured, Is 9d to 2s 6d; round, Is 3d to 3s. Beans, Is to 6s per case. Cucumbers, outside, Is to 3s 6d petcase. Potatoes, 5s to 8s per sack.
