ART OF MISS COMPTON. Playing in Palmerston North for the final time last night, before another large audience, Miss Fay Compton and Iter company gave local patrons of the theatre a performance which will jive long in their memory. Laurence Housman’s delightful work and the pefiod furniture and beautiful gowns took the audience back to the Victorian age again, and it was a wholly delightful experience. At the conclusion. Miss Compton on behalf of her company thanked the audience for their appreciative interest while 'they had been playing in Palmerston North.
