EVENING MEETING. An interesting athletic programme was staged by Kia Toa Club on the Sportsground on Monday, the events generally being of a good order considering the fact that there was a strong head wind. Results are as follow : 100 yards.—G. Robinson (6yds.) 1, R. Kay (91) 2, and G. Simpson (2) 3; time, 10 4-6 sec. 220 yards.—First heat: Kilgour (20) 1, G. Simpson (10) 2, R. Kay (20) 3. Second heat: G. Robinson (12) 1, C. McVicar (20) 2, J. Millar (22) 3. Final: G Robinson 1, G. Simpson 2, C. McVicar 3; time, 23 sec. Kilgour and Kay did not run in the final. 880 yards.—J. Scott (65) 1, J. Millar (55) 2, C. McVicar (9ij) 3; time, 2 min. Women’s 75 vards.—P. Wilson (5) 1. P. Chalk (4) 2, A. Wilson (11) 3; time, lOsec. Women’s 100 yards.—P. Wilson (10) 1, P. Chalk (7) 2, and A. Wilson (3) 3 time, 12sec. Cycling events.—Two laps.—Rasmuisen (40) 1, Evans (80) 2, McCardle (60) 3; time, lrnin. 20 4-ssec. Three-mile: Allen (120) 1, Rasmussen (160) 2, McCardle (300) 3; time, 7 min. 33sec.
