STOPPING OF AIR SERVICE. Received March 2, 8.5 a.m. SHANGHAI. Alar. 1. The Japanese naval spokesman reveals that on February 22 Japan asked Britain to discontinue the Hong Kong air service, which was a potential cause of friction. Some of the aircraft had already been pursued over the Japanese anchorage near Hong Kong.
