CHICAGO, Feb. 26. Henry Armstrong technically knocked out Young Rightmire in the third round of a ten-round bout to-night. CARROLL RETIRES. AN AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION. Received February 28, 10.50 a.m. SYDNEY. Feb. 28. The Australian welterweight boxing champion. Jack Carroll, acting on medical advice, has retired from tho boxing ring. His decision followed upon the serious reaction which Carroll, who is- 32 years old, has undergone after his recent contests against the Americans Jannazzo a.nd Leto.
