TRIBUTE TO MEMORY.

LATE SIR TRUEY .KING. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Feb. 27. . Auckland paid a tribute to the memory of the latß Sir Truby King at a largely-attended memorial service in St. Mary’s Cathedral this morning organised by the Plunket Society. The service was attended by representatives of all sections of the community. Representatives of the Auckland City Council and Auckland Harbour Board were present; also representatives of the British Medical Association, naval and military services and numerous local bodies and societies. All nursing divisions were represented and the doctors and consulting staff of Kaitane home attended. The leader of the Opposition, Hon. A. Hamilton, was also at the service.

“To serve was to him infinitely higher than to serve self or to amass a fortune,” said Archbishop Averili in the course of a stirring panegyric on tlie late Sir Truby King.
