Sovereigns and half-sovereigns worth more than £2BO face value have been found in an old mahogany press which had been sent for sale to a Newcastle (England) auction room. The press was being carried into the saleroom when the jingling of coins was heard, and on a drawer being opened the sovereigns and half-sovereigns }«ere found. They were sent to the solicitor for the estate of which the press formed a part.
