docket receipt cases. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Feb. 25. The Magistrate (Mr J. H. Luxford), in his reserved judgment in the cash docket receipt cases, as to whether they were liable for duty, said the words “executed in New Zealand might have far-reaching consequences and would, no doubt, be considered in appeal proceedings. Should that be so, further questions could be dealt with by the Supreme Court. He, therefore, dismissed ail the informations on the ground that the documents in question, if they were receipts, were unsigned, and'so were not liable to duty.
