SEE THROUGH FOG.
MR BAIRD’S “MAGIC EYE.” Received February 25, 10 a.m. LONDON, Feb. 24. Before embarking in the Strathaird for Australia, the television expert, Mr John Baird, announced that he will test throughout the voyage the “magic eye,” which will enable the navigators to see 30 miles through fog. He also announced that he had recently been working on an aerial television set to enable a pilot to see the landscape 50 miles distant.
