STRANGE HAPPENINGS.

, LONDON GHOST STORY. LONDON, Feb. 15. Officers of the International Institute of Physical Research are nonplussed by reported happenings in a Bethnal Green house and the British Broadcasting Corporation is investigating the practicability of broadcasting a ghost. The Harrison family, occupiers of the top floor of a house believed to be haunted, are vacating the premises as they are unable to stand the strain.

The first floor is occupied by the family of George Davis, a compositor, whose wife died in September. Since November the Davis and Harrison families claim to have heard shrieks and moans, and to have found chairs upset and pictures moved. Two weeks ago they called in the police and a guard was mounted to control the curious crowds continually in the street.
