FATAL INJURIES.
HIGHWAY TRAGEDY. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. Feb. 23. _ While crossing Taliuna Road opposite her home at Mangateparu, six miles from Morrinsville,. on returning from school shortly after 3 o’clock this afternoon, Phyllis Audrey Marwood, aged five and a-lialf years, the daughter of Mr and Mrs William G. Marwood; was knocked down by a motor-car and suffered' fatal injuries.
