SURF CARNIVAL.
NEW ZEALAND SUCCESSES. Received February 24, 8.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 23. New Zealand was well represented at the Coogco surf carnival to-night and filled several places. In the international belt race, competing with the picked beltmen of five Australian States, A. Dalton was placed third to F. Bennett (New South Wi'les) and Tom Boast (Queensland). In the first heat of the senior belt race, an open event, A Stokes was third to Clem Walsh, of Bondi, and L. McKay, of Narrabcen. D. Symes started in the special firstclass surf race, but was unplaced. The .weather wms warm and there was a large attendance. In the junior surf race the New Zealander, H. Goldsmith, was third to A. Imrie (Queensland) and J. Yeomans (Bondi).
