FEILDING STOCK SALE.

SPARSE ENTRIES. NO STORE -SHEEP. A very email entry of sheep and cattle was yarded at the Feilding stock sale held yesterday, and selling was completed by I. p.m. Fat Sheep.—Shorn 2ths made up to 24s Sd, and woolly do., 27s 9d. Quotations: 3 at 225, 21 at 23s lid, 16 at 24s 2d, 24 at 24s sd; woolly do., 27s 9d. Several small pens of woolly lambs made 225, 27s 6d, 28s. Fat Ewes. —Fat ewes made up to 17s 9d, and only several small pens were passed. J. Knight secured 16s lid for a pen of 36. and 17s 8d for a pen of 38; 17s 8d was the price paid for a pen of 60 offered on account Reo Knight, Aorangi. A line of 60 on account McKelvie Est., Carnarvon, made 17s 9d. Other quotations: Six at 16s 3d, 36 at 16s lid, 3 at 17s 6d, 6 at 17s 7d, 2 (woolly) at 20s 6d. No store sheep were offered.

P.A. heifers, rather on the light side, offered on account of 11. McKellar, Lees Line, Feilding, made £6 15s, £6 17s, £7, £7 4s. Fat heifers sold at £4 12s 6d, and cows at £4 17b 6d to £6. Dairy cows and heifers realised £5 5s to £6 15s, and store cows were disposed of at prices ranging from £2 12s 6d to £3 17s 6d. , SALE AT LEVIN. At the usual weekly stock sale at Levin owing to the change in the day due to the Christinas holidays, the yardings were not as large as at recent sales. lor the quality of the stock offered, prices remained on a par with late rates. Realisations were; Pigs.—Light porkers, 30s, 345, 37s 6d ; medium do., £2, £2 ss; heavy do., £2 Bs, £2 10s, £2 12s 6d; baconors, £2 13s, £2 14s, £2 17s 6d ; £2 19s; weaners, 12s 6d, 16s 6d, 18s; slips, 20s, 22s 6d, 245; stores, 255, 265, 29s 6d, 335. Sheep : Fat lambs, 20s 6d, 225, 22s Id, 23s lid, 245, 24s 9d; fat ewes, 26s 9d; fat wethers, 25s 3d, 27s 9d; fat hoggets, 19s 6d, 24s Id. Poultry. Ducks, Is lOd, 2s 6d, 3s Id; turkeys, 7s 3d, 16s.
