BRITAIN AND PORTUGAL.
TIES OF FRIENDSHIP. (British Official Wireless.) Received December 16, 10.10 a.m. RUGBY, Dec. 15. When the new British Ambassador to Portugal (Sir Walford Selby) reached Lisbon to-day, he referred to the strong ties of friendship between Britain and Portugal and promised to do his utmost to make them even stronger.
