THERMAL ATTRACTIONS.
NEW AREA OPENED. Per Press Association. ROTORUA, Dec. 16. The Minister of Lands and Tourist Resorts (Hon. F. Langstone) yesterday paid a visit to the thermal valley of Orakei-korako, which was __ " recently opened as a tourist resort, "and after inspecting the valley he officially declared the area open. The Minister said he was most impressed by the attractions of the valley, which should become one of the major points of interest in the Rotorua district.
