TRIP TO SIDNEY.
RETURNED SOLDIERS’ CON- . TINGENT. Feilding and district returned soldiers who were unsuccessful in the ballot for the trip to Sydney in connection with the celebrations in that city next April will be pleased to learn that they still have a chance of making the trip. If negotiations which are at present being made with the Union Steam Ship Co. for another steamer are successful, .it is likely that approximately 650 additional berths will be available. Upon-receipt of definite information from headquarters, the local R.S.A. will proceed to finalise the seelctions to fill Feilding’s additional quota. No additional applications will be considered, headquarters having intimated that more than sufficient applications have been received to fill two steamers.
