(From Our Own Correspondent.) ASHHURST, Dec. 6. A shoot was fired over the 300 and 500 yards ranges last Saturday under good weather conditions. A moderate right rear wind required careful watching. Scores: R. A. Jones, 48 —48 —96; R. Wakefield, 48—47—95; L. Orr, 46—46—92; M. Hausmann, 45—46 —91; E. Leyland, 46—44—90; A. Brill, 45—44—89; 11. Russell, 41 —48 —89; J. Henson, 40—46 —86; E. Strong, 43 —42 —85 ; J. Hargreaves, 41 —41 —B2; S. J. Brookie, 35-45-80; G. Smith 32 —39 —71. Arrangements will be finalised next Saturday for the New Year’s Day championship and ladies’ shoots.
